There are times in our lives when we feel all ‘our’ hope is gone and we have nowhere to go.
I call this the ‘End of the Road’ time, when all I think
‘may be’ possible, ain’t doing it, and everything in
my life seems drained – empty. It’s at this time that
I come to the end of my limited view of life and all
my limited answers or attempts at solving problems,
challenges. It’s at this place that I begin to see I
don’t have anywhere to run to and no where to hide
– nor do I need to. Perfect place to learn and grow.
We all get here and it is right at this place where we
can be truly set free from the burdens that weigh us
down and try to act like they control us.
This End of the Road is where I can find out about
or learn the Truth, and the Way and come out of my
darkness and step through it into the Light.
Well, this is the beginning of your best journey yet. .
. It’s time to choose. Choose either to fall deeper
into the darkness or – Choose to step into the light.
We come to crossroads many times in our lives, and
we need to really see them for what they are – our
greatest opportunity to step into real life, abundant
life. How? By choosing Light/Life, by choosing the
Way, rather than our way. It’s time for the real
deal, instead of the fakes we have learned to fall for.
We have been provided a gift of new life; this is the
gift we have been born for. Our physical birth puts
us in the Way of gaining what we need to continue
on – gaining new life.
Like the seed sown, we can choose to respond to
the darkness and the water, and the dirt in living
through accepting the light. Or we can choose to
stay dead, full of potential but lacking the touch of
reality – like the touch of warmth and sunlight, life
– right in the midst of dirt and death.
We fall down so that we can grow up, didn’t you
know that. Don’t you remember falling down and
getting back up and continuing on what you were
doing as a child. Children don’t let the fall keep
them down, they get up. Even when you are
overwhelmed, Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Aunt,
Uncle, Gramma, Grandad, someone comes and
picks you up.
So you know about getting up. You play sports,
you fall you get up and continue on with the game.
Whatever you do, if at first your don’t succeed, you
try and try again.
Well, when we fall soulically (within our souls,
emotionally, mentally), there is One there ready to
help us up, if we choose to ask and receive –
simple. Don’t miss it by complaining and blaming
and getting bitter. You can choose abundant life, so
what ‘cha gonna do? CHOOSE!
