"Above all, live your life one day at a time. Don't be in a rush to make tomorrow come any sooner than it needs to get here . . .

A few weeks ago, I was reading a blog on MySpace. Yes, I subscribe to MySpace. I've found it to be a great resource for promoting your work or whatever you are trying to put out to the masses.  Anyway, not to digress; as I read this blog, a young woman wrote that she felt that she was getting old and have not gotten married or had children yet. Some may say " so, what's the big deal."  She's only 22 years old. I laughed to myself as I continued to read it and thought, "she doesn't even have a clue."  She hasn't even lived yet; just received her BA degree and on her first "real job."  I couldn't resist the temptation to reply back.  So I wrote:

"Above all, live your life one day at a time. Don't be in a rush to make tomorrow come any sooner than it needs to get here. What's important in YOUR life at this moment, at this very second . . . is YOU. YOUR main objectives to consider should be:

• What makes ME happy
• What do I want out of life
• What makes ME want to be successful
• What goals do I want to accomplish for myself
• How much time do I want to give myself to accomplish these goals 

YOU are in too much of a hurry to get married and have children - that time will come in its OWN time. But for now, everything should be about YOU. Take some time and explore all of YOUR options before making any decisions that YOU may regret later in life. The decisions YOU make now, may last a life time.  YOUR life is a ONE TIME offer - so make every moment count with NO REGRETS to have to worry about later. Trust me on this; I know it all too well. If YOU happen to stumble and fall along YOUR journey; learn to accept YOUR mistakes and look at them as a lesson learned. This is YOUR moment in life to make everything count. YOU are in charge of YOUR destiny - make it happen."

She has became an active subscriber too my blog postings on MySpace and greatly appreciated - as she put it, "your words of wisdom."  If we all just took the time to reach out to Our Children, teens, and young adults, not only will we be paving a path for them to follow; we will also be preparing them to be leaders for Our Future.
