It is more comfortable to be blind than to truly see in a world filled with deliberate man destroying obstacles which many declare are truths. I believe that the Old Testament is the history of a given people who considered themselves the chosen favored of God and I don’t have a problem with that.

I believe in the New Testament which presents the Gospel of Good News of the revolutionary Jesus as reflected in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John because that is where I find the actions and teachings of Jesus prior to being subverted by too many people calling themselves Christians, a sect which didn’t even exist in Jesus’ lifetime. Jesus instituted and taught “The Way”, which many men have perverted to their own ends.

Jesus didn’t hate anyone or teach anyone to hate but now alleged Christians (their definition), many of whom hold positions of power now fuel the fires of hate, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, et al , proclaiming God is on our American Empire side. I don’t think so. I am tired of people profaning God and the power that is given to each of us if we aren’t too cowardly to grasp it. I’m talking Jesus power, the kind of power which has endured for over two thousand years. Now that is some power. While recognizing the strength of this power I am moved to examine it more closely. You see any teaching/philosophy which prevails this long will emerge as the true vehicle it was designed to be which is to control the populace which is man‘s perversion.

This is not the core of what Jesus taught Pastor Jim Rigby informs us is his article “Don’t bow down to God’s Bullies” in AlterNet the progressive internet ezine. Instead he teaches that Jesus was not about power and control he was about love. Isn’t that amazing?

Today’s madmen in their quest, destruction, and control of natural resources, notice I didn’t say oil, are attempting to ignite a 21^st Century Crusade aided once more by a Muslim faction who clamor for Jihad. When we fast forward upon Middle Eastern oil becoming unattainable despite a series of costly wars and the Southern US declares impressions of winning the current Civil War through its’ political clout within the GOP a new old picture emerges as Democrats sleep.

The plantations loom on the horizon as food production becomes the new oil, and TJ and Junior who went up North had better head home because a plot of land will be the new currency. What’s all of this have to do with Jesus? Jesus was a teacher/healer not a preacher Pharisee, Bishop, Pope, Imam, Archbishop. It is time out for whooping, hollering, and spitting. The music is great and many of the stories excellent but it’s time to unearth your Jesus power. You see Jesus is dead only as long as you think he is. I’m here to tell you he is alive. Tell your neighbor Jesus is alive because I’m alive and I’ll keep telling people that Jesus lives and he isn’t condemning anyone. I believe he said let he who is without sin cast the first stone. That does not sound like a clarion call for escalating war on a global level nor does it license any nation of peoples to police and protect the world through protracted destruction. Divine right is accessible to everyone I define it as love of the planet and its’ inhabitants who want to live in peace. Divine power is totally different and not very divine after all. It is instead a smoke screen as man once again tries to redefine his religions with the same historical results of times past with a different twist. The twist this time is that more people are awakening to what is actually happening and repudiate that old time religion which conquers, enslaves, and creates Conquistadors, and fires immoral Crusades.

The time has come to return to earth and treat it like the mother she truly is before we who do nothing aid in her destruction and that of her children worldwide. Unleash your Jesus power unless you want to become the true wretched of the earth. Famine and nakedness abound worldwide we/I must feed the hungry and clothe the naked if only through the medium of writing while I still have time. Namaska, the God in me salutes and honors the God in you. .
