It is difficult to take such claims seriously. But I told you, in last week's column, that I would tell you about this claim of a frozen Bigfoot body. As you know, photos of dead Bigfoot bodies have been around for some time. I even included a photo in one of my columns. I haven't heard, or read, any more about whether the animal was real or not. Looked real!

Again, there have been reported sightings of Sasquatch/Bigfoot in all the United States except hawaii. And in Georgia where this "body" is reported to be, there have been 61 sightings. Matthew Whitton (the cop) and Rick Dyer co-own bigfoottrackerdot.com. They provide adventure expeditions into the mountains of north Georgia. A week before the claim of a body, Whitton reported to the Clayton News Daily that business was brisk; and, even more exciting, he knew where a family of Bigfoot were.
On videos posted online, the pair come across as, well, not very believable--in my opinion. It could be I'm just skeptical. But who is to say how the proof of these animals will come about. The men claim they've been offered a million for the corpse, but they say they want much more.
They will reveal the body on their website, Sept. 1. I don't have the website address at this time. I'll let you know.

"The people who believe in Bigfoot and are searching for evidence responded to the announcement with a mixture of disbelief and hope. A California-based Bigfoot group ... officially described Whitton and Dryer as "idiots" and "clowns," and warned their claims are a scam to advertise their business."
