Well I took this book on holiday and this is my account of it.

"Utter rubbish. As for the Independent's review, the only sex was when mari is asked if she has had sex, she replies. No. I havet not. He then says that's OK. Its OK to be a virgin.   Yup that was the sexy part.

A most unsatifying read quite unlike Norweigan Wood.  Page after page of meaningless prose wrapped up in the most bizarre and pointless dialogue.

Eri has been asleep without stirring for three months...no, not a coma we are told. Well if that is possible,  I think Haruki Murikami should do the same.

I rate this short novel with one star. After all I know the effort put into writing, no matter what comes out.
