Plaisance has a real gift for writing about the paranormal and creating southern Gothic that pulls readers in. Surely there are no such things as boo hags... Surely not!

My thoughts about writing a story and becoming a published author are simple, same as my writings. My thinking has always been, if you like my books buy them, if not, buy another genre. I have a style of writing same as everyone else. An artist has a style of painting. A musician has a style of composing music. An author has a style of putting words to paper. You can and should say you didn't care for the book, in a review. There is no need to insult the artist, the musician, or the author of any review. It's petty. I write for myself. Writing heals me from pain. Writing brings me joy. So I write and will continue to write.
