Mandate of Citizenship is more important than the mandatory vaccination prescribed to combat the Coronavirus.
To mandate or not to mandate is the question being debated about the value or dis-value of mandatory vaccination as the apppropriae response to the Coronavirus pandemic in America.
There is a mandate question that supercedes the question of the mandate for the Cronavirus pandemic. It is the question of the mandate of citizenship. The answer to this question is:
Citizenship doesn't ask us to come
to the table of freedom, justice and
equality without judgment. It simply
ask us to presume that every American
citizen has a right to be there."
While it is true that Americans are divided on the matter of mandatory vaccination as the appropriate response to the Cornavirus pandemic, it is also true that Americans have been divided for several centuries on the matter of the mandate of citizenship. Adherence to and practice of the white supremacy doctrine has and continues to account for African Americans and other so-called people of color being denied the right to vote and/or experience difficulty in attempting to vote.
During the Twenty-First Century most States have laws and/or continue to enact laws that prohibit or make it difficult for African Americans and so-called people of color to vote. It should be as easy for every citizen who wants to vote to vote as it is for him/her to purchase groceries. Furthermore, any person who is not able to vote should not be required to pay taxes. "No taxation without representation" should be as valid today as it was during the time of the Boston Tea Party.
Again we declare:
Citizenship doesn't ask us to come
to the table of freedom, justice and
equality without judgment. It simply
ask us to presume that every American
citizen has a right to be there.
With this presumption there can only be support and encouragement for every American citizen of age to vote.
An interesting twist on mandates. I would question anyone who wishes to have freedom to spread a virus that is preventable by vaccination to others as a result of definition.
White supremacy still pervades our society. Most of the backward legislation in many areas seems to come from those dragging their feet into the last century or even before that. Their numbers are dwindling, so they are trying to come up with every trick of their trade to keep in political power. Even boosting bombastic, sociopathic, narcissistic people like Donald Trump into the highest positions of political office. And worst of all, with money.
My suggestion, Internet voting, is quickly shot down. That is strange because Social Security and the IRS, have been using the Internet for nearly 20 years to be in touch and to do business with every citizen with an income. And some without income, receiving benefits. If we all had an account in MyVoteUSA.gov, no one would even miss a local or runoff election. And never have to leave other duties to go run the gauntlet to the polls and vote, ever again.
Mark my words… It is coming whether the white supremacists want it or not.
