The results of the vote
Hello Everyone,
I'd first like to thank all of you for over 10,000 pageviews! If I was in a better mood, I'd be more ecstatic, but I am still very grateful.
As grateful as I am about that, I'm still going to have to take a break from writing for a while.
It's frustrating, because I use up what little free time I have to write. I do it mainly for fun, but it really needs to start producing income.
The problem with that is, I don't think I can get it there without help that I know I can't afford.
I know this was supposed to be about the result of the vote, but no one voted. Not even on Mastodon.
One person on here responded, but they suggested a different type of character, mistaking this story as a comic book, whereas I'm planning for this to be one or more novels.
The only thing that I can guess is that, the story is just not interesting enough, and if that's the case, I don't want to put anymore effort into it.
Free time is precious to me, and if I'm going to waste it, I'd rather play Civilization VI and truly waste my time.
We're really trying to move out of this crappy apartment soon, and so I have to put off writing for now to pursue something that can bring in some extra money. I have no idea what that could be, but I have to find it.
I will probably still write a few blogs here and there, so I'll see you soon.

A thousand clicks is a good thing. But you have to somehow break through the thousands of others writing stories with something truly exceptional or you are lucky to have a celebrity or someone else in the media pick up your story and promote it for you. Please don't pay anyone to promote for you. They won't do 90% of what they say they will do and just take your money.
You are right about getting out of the "crappy little apartment." The only way to wealth is ownership. I would suggest that you put away a little money each week in the stock market. When you have enough money to buy a house or apartment, if only a down payment, go for it. Consider your writing and songwriting a hobby unless you want to try out for one of those shows where new talent is accepted and many get their start.
But don't stop writing. I hate blogs and don't read them generally. I think blogs are a waste of time for someone trying to get ahead unless you are already famous.
