So right you are. If it weren't for my writing and stimulating my muse, fired by my dreams, my retirement in a wheelchair would be very lonely and boring.

I encourage almost everyone that I meet to write their story and any other stories they might have in mind. Why anyone would want to prevent a story from being written, is beyond me. Some fear hurting others.

Unfortunately, some of the people with severe disabilities that I've met, want to tell their story but don't know how to get started doing it. For example, one fellow, before he died wrote his story on one page. Another, asked me every time we met to write his story for him and I had no way of getting it from him to write. At that time he had a webpage they told his story quite well.

Thank you for the article reaffirming the old adage… "If you put your light under a lampshade, it may never be seen."
