are we being honest with ourselves?
2/12/2009 3:55:03 PM

the answers to these questions could be quite fascinating. its so important to be honest with ourselves because if we dont there is a danger of living a lie....
We are all faced with lots of challenges in life and the question of are you being honest with yourself is so important, I’l tell you why. How are you? Is a question we ask everyday, probably more than once. So common answers are; I’m ok, I’m fine, can’t complain, great, excellent, and so on. Are these answers really the truth? When we say we are ok, are we really, are we happy with how much we are earning? Are we ok with our current lifestyle? Is there really nothing to complain about? By continually saying we are ok, we are actually convincing ourselves it is. The truth is if when we are not content we strive for more and progress. By this I am not saying we shouldn’t be grateful for what we have; just don’t forget to keep striving to each your best. They say that the truth hurts, well it normally does. We don’t want to hear that we can have made more effort; we don’t want tohear that it was our fault and we were responsible for our results. The truth is everything in our life is directly related to the choices we made in the past. So being honest with ourselves is starts with taking responsibilty for our results based on the choices we have made. Do we choose to work where we are? Could we have made better choices? Is it ever too late?
