Do Secrets kill…; yes they do, slowly, mentally and emotionally, when you hold on to heartache caused by one thing or another. This is why the Mending Hearts Newsletter was created, the articles written are thought provoking with the purpose to start the process of healing in your life. Believe it or not, you are not alone, there are many women who share similar experiences and stories they just narrate theirs differently.
Hurt and Pain cripples you. It gnaws at you like a cancer, destroying your heart first. Instead of confronting your pain, you nurse it as a woman would a newborn child. By feeding it, washing it and clothing it, until it gets too big for you to handle. But it doesn’t have to be this way, for God is always available and ready to listen, to heal and restore, the brokenhearted. (1 Peter 5:7) “Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.”
And then there are Counselors, Pastors, Family Therapist as well as trusted friends and family that can help guide you into confronting and releasing whatever secrets in your life that has you by the throat. I’m asking that you deal with the past, as well as, present wounds, so that you can have a brighter outlook for tomorrow. Healing, for you, can begin right now. It's time for you to live. You have too much to offer the world, and other women need to hear your story. Lay down the crutches and take baby steps towards your healing...
