First of all, thank you for reading the flyer about the collection of somewhat personal explorations into history. Once you dive into these enthralling details, I hope, this book will fully reward you for your curiosity.
The idea of this book is; admittedly, bring back the popular legends of our glorious nation in contact with. But I have tried to do so within the confines of logic and reasoning. The idea is to take you on sequences of short trips into certain side streets on Indian history without asking you to take sides on anything. Don’t miss the beautiful view of the journey in a haste to reach the destination! Even if it’s a long trip.. No need to hurry...enjoy the trip! : You will probably miss it when it is over. And you will want to do it again... But a new voyage will begin from there...
India a nation which has had a great past can look forward with confidence to a great future. It would be restorative to national self-confidence to know that many discoveries of today are really re-discoveries and represent knowledge which ancient India had at her command.
True merit of Indian civilization is like a river, the deeper it is, the less noise it makes. It has been rich in culture, religion, tradition, science, literature and prosperity ever since it was found to be existed and before as well. We have been grown up without a clear understanding about our prosperity, which is a must. Indians should not lose their pride, uniqueness and whatever.
Mine is a humble effort to satisfy the urge of students of the history of science and technology, Indologists and NRIs (non-resident Indians) who have distained themselves from their roots and others who would like to know about the advances made in ancient India in the field of science, technology and culture and their transmission the world over.
Ancient Indians had some phenomenal knowledge thousands of years ago. Our people were doing complicated Surgeries and solving Trigonometry and Calculus when rest of the world was still developing their languages to communicate in a better way!
Astronomy, Astrology, Surgery, Medicine, Cosmology, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Aviation, Architecture, Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geography, Biotechnology, and many more were the birthplace of this Great ,superb Land...
This book shows many reasons, why lots of Indians should read about our incredible India and understand what our ancestors gave us in terms of Spirituality, Religious and Philosophical practices, Science., Astronomy, Astrology, etc.
