From Polar to Molar: A February Tale 2/8/2025 6:03:41 AM
What do modern writers do when they get writer's block? Well, at least one writer goofs off with ChatGPT for a bit till the muse circles back around.
I asked the AI scrivener to write a poem with two instructions: 1) write a poem that transitions from cold winter into the warmth of Valentine's Day. 2) rhyme "polar vortex" with something in the poem.
Here's the result:
Polar vortex grips the air,
Freezing all with frosty flair.
But as Feb fourteenth appears,
A sweeter season lifts our fears.
From wind chill blues to candy hearts,
A different vortex promptly starts—
The molar vortex whirls away,
As chocolates rule this lover's day.
From bitter cold to toothache's sting,
Oh what a change this month doth bring!
When winter's bite gives way at last
To cavities that form too fast.
