Control is an illusion that we cling to for dear life. It's invisible tethers, dangling before up with the promise of bringing us to safety...When it's actually dragging us out deeper into the current. We control simple things like choosing what to eat or where to go. Do you ever wonder if life as we know it is one grand illusion? A trick of the mind put there to placate the masses. To lull us away from seeking the truth. If this is so, who is the magician? God or some other higher form of intelligence? And if we are controlled by something greater then ourselves, what is the purpose, entertainment? Granted, human beings make for great drama. Each of us has a story to tell. Some interesting and some that make us pause and shake our heads because to believe its true--would mean that we have NO CONTROL AT ALL! And that everything has been mapped out for us. We're all born with sell by dates and could be plucked from existence at any time or we could live til we're, old, toothless, bald, wrinkled and back in diapers, like newborns. Where's the control? Are we simply puppets or actors on a galatic stage?  Can something just turn us off as easily as changing the channel? Because if this is even remotely true someone or thing owes me a hell of a lot of money and it begs the question, are we responsible for our actions? Does control transcend human comprehension? We create situations that we think that we control, like getting married and having children. Ask yourself, is that our reward or punishment for a job well done?!
