Goodness, I just gave a seminar in Portland a few weeks ago on social networking. I mentioned Author's Den as a wonderful place to network, but could not find the blog link!!! Today when I answered a query there it was big as life. Because I couldn't find it and I needed to experiment with this novel way of communicating I went to another place - Eons.com. For anyone who is a boomer - this has been a fun place to be. Various groups/communities abound with a wide range of interest and input. There are book lovers, readers, and those who care for aged parents (of which I am one). My kids put me on MySpace - a place I find difficult to traverse given the ads and folks who want to be my "friend".
I must admit the folks I have met here at author's den via their messages and comments to my writing and books, have been delightful. It will be interesting to see ... where this blog takes me and my readers. One thing I would like to talk about is grief and the experiences one has had due to the loss of a loved one. I am working on a new book called tentatively, "Grief Without Apology"; many excerpts will come from those who have traveled that road ... more later. In the mean time, for any who read this - welcome to my first Author's Den blog!
