If you like a good mystery and intrigue novel but need to sink your teeth into something a bit more spicey, with love and romance added in, I think you'll want to read Eureka Point. It's a delicious and spellbinding story about Park Avenue interior designer, Katie Montgomery, whose devious and mentally unstable husband, Craig Montgomery, is a wanted fugitive. Unknown to Katie, Craig is involved with a notoriously dangerous South American drug cartel. The FBI uncovers his drug operation and they believe he has fled the country, leaving Katie alone and in danger. The FBI is worried that the cartel will come after Katie if they believe that she has information regarding them and their operation. The FBI explains everything to Katie, changes her appearance and identity, and relocates her from New York to Eureka Point, California, where she meets her contact, Special Agent Tom Owens, who is totally smitten with her. They fall for each other but Katie, a.k.a. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Harrison, holds back, fearful that Craig will have them both killed or that she will never be free of him. There are twists and turns in the plot, which keeps you guessing what will happen next, and has you routing for Tom, who is the "knight in shining armor".

My passion is writing. Eureka Point is my first published book. It is of a romantic genre but has mystery, suspense, and intrigue mixed in. I consciously write with an emphasis on describing scenery and surroundings, putting the reader into the story. I also try to give the reader a good background on the main characters so they feel as if they know them personally. Suspense, twists and turns in the plot, and a mystery that needs to be solved, all keep the reader involved. I love to keep them guessing. They just have to find out what happens.
