How I wrote this sad story about a gangster's life 6/26/2008 2:48:01 PM
I guess from time to time people ask me about my book and how I ever had the nerve to publish something so intense and driven with emotions like I did. The story of a gangster's life comes alive in my book because at one time he was alive, he was my husband and I loved him and I still do. I took a lot of abuse and I live with a criminal on and off for 32 years. This story is so humiliating and so cut and dry and so gutsy. I accomplished a few things in writing it. First, I imortalized my husband even though he was a bad person, Second, I cleaned out my sould of all the hurt, abuse, terror and long years of suffering I put on my own self to be with this man.
I learned humility, forgiveness and how to clean your soul with God's help. I want to thank my readers for going on a trip with me into the psyche of the human mind as they live vicariously this world of crime and torment and they can get a first hand view of what it is like to live with a criminal and what an extremely high price you pay for doing it.
