45 years old today....how fast time has gone for me! I've gone through changes in my life--cable TV, telephones, clothes, personal computers and the like. Becoming 45 made me feel a little worried because in 5 years, I'll be 50 and my parents will be getting older and may eventually die, leaving my brothers and me vulnerable to acccept the fact that we all may pass away.
My biggest concern is that I may not be published since my writings require a honest critique by a more experienced writer who would be happy to mentor me as well as to goad me into improving my writing before I post the manuscripts to book publishers and literary magazines across the Nation. Like my fellow writers before me, they would AGREE with me that writing is the HARDEST thing we've done in our lives. See what I mean?
Being appreciative of our writing helps us realize that our fellow writers and I can help each other succeed in our lives. We fail and succeed, you know! I hope you all agree with my new blog.
