The days we are sharing now are those in which Jesus gave his life for all mankind. Let us show our love by remembering the moment Christ died.
The Moment Christ Died
The moment Jesus Christ died left a great void in our Universe
His physical presence was not felt on this earthly plain
But through that void we were given the gift of forgiveness from God
To every human upon this earth that trod.
Put yourself in the mind of Jesus
Who died for sinful mankind
To give redemption and ease for us
Some so unthankful and unkind.
Even though he was raised from the tomb and made his presence before God
To bring to him the shed value of his blood in a spiritual Bod
And sat at his right hand as our King
Praises to him we bow and songs of blessings we sing.
The Moment Jesus died the Angels wept
The Universe trembled and across time a shudder swept
God’s Son had created a new sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin
That could bring redemption for all men.
A few hours earlier before Herod and Pilate he was blasphemed
Made a spectacle of mockery as the theme
Beaten, abused, laughed at was the show of the day
But he remained pure and to God JAH He would pray.
They found him innocent and given to his peers
Who found him guilty amidst the crowd with jeers
Impale him, impale him was their cry
Jesus kept his head up high even though he was about to die.
They finally led him to a place called SKULL
Where the final events of his life would unfurl
As he was impaled for all to see
At the place he died for you and me.
Each and every one of us were there
For his death carried our sins in which he bare
And took away the curse of the law
And has given us the chance of everlasting life we saw.
On about the six hour at Golgatha a darkness fell
Everyone who did not believe now could tell
Jesus indeed is the Son of GOD as he preached
And now maybe some could be reached.
The moment Christ died is a day that will always be remembered
For to our greatest needs he tendered
His life that many could be saved
And for everlasting life his life paved.
The day of remembrance is now upon us and let us not forget
That for three hours the sun did not shine and did not set
For the day Christ died is one that will always shine
In all our hearts we love Jesus, the Wonderful Divine.
