Nisan 14 is when Jesus died. What was it like during his last three steps and last breath. Try to envision this.
The Last Three Steps and Last Breath of Jesus It must have been a trying time for Jesus to die for a sinful world To make for forgiveness for every man, woman, boy and girl To be tried as a criminal so innocent and without guilt For he was sent to make it better for wayward mankind that GOD built. The last three steps to his crucifixion must have been pure agony Knowing his integrity was on the line for you and me Would he fulfill or deny prophecy Of laying down his life faithfully? Such a burden weighed on his shoulders Like dense weights and huge boulders Yet God gave him strength to endure And he prayed for the Holy Spirit to keep him strong Without faltering to Satan’s lure. With labored breathing from toil and strain He continued his journey even through pain For God’s Will was in the balance and stayed on his mind That he should give his life for all mankind. The agonies of the day weighed heavy as he carried the stake But he was righteous and would die for mankind’s sake The last three steps would bring him closer to his goal To redeem mankind by giving his soul. Let us remember and have the mind of Christ these days of remembrance And not let everyday matters be a hindrance But take to heart Jesus’ last three steps And his last breath and tears from his eyes as he wept. © Tommy L. May we all have a better understanding of the pain and suffering that He bore for all. Perhaps then we will all appreciate the little aches and pains we have from time to time and know that THe Lord is with us through it all.

I am in awe of this well thought poem. This poem really opens up the eyes of the reader of what happen when jesus was taling his last steps and breath. this is a beautiful poem Great job.

A very real and heartwrenching Tribute to our Dear Lord and Saviour.
Those last hours were agony, but he is Risen, and we need to be thankful for his sacrifice daily.

This touches me deeply. I too have often wondered what Jesus was thinking on His last few steps to Calvary. What a tremendous weight on His shoulders, all of our sins on one Man. Thank you for this poem, Tommy. God bless you.
