Do you believe objects can carry memory
I do. And my novel Stolen Light grew from that belief. What if an object contained a message meant for one generation survived to save another? This is the heartbeat of Stolen Light. The past offers answers for the present yet how reluctant we are to acknowledge this. Ray Bradbury in his novel "Dandelion Wine" has one story of a young man who loved to speak with old people because he believed they were like time machines. You could visit the past through them. Einstein once said, "Learn from yesterday, live for today." Before you reject the past remember it might contain the answer you need for today.
