She had a skittish demeanor but what spooked her that night all alone. I had the most intriguing day! It was odd to come across two people today share their thoughts about my book "Scary Mary" they bought on B&N! One thought it was a horrifying thriller but was satisfied with the ending and the other was just so entertained with the book, she was going to share it with her Grandmother. Both sentiments touched my heart, I was glad they found my book interesting enough to read it.
It's about a young farmer who meets a beautiful woman, they fall in love and marry shortly afterward when they transitioned out to his farm in the middle of nowhere. He would often try to amuse her with eerie old folk tales but he failed to notice her skittish demeanor and what's so sad is due to his negligence cost him his life which devastated her to death. It's a good little story with a bit of a western flair.
