Plans for a trip to China to explore the possibility of out-sourcing products.
After 45 years of manufacturing in the United States, our company is exploring the option of purchasing products from Asia. On April 21 I will leave for a two week buying mission to Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China. Not sure what to expect. I have a feeling I am going to be overwhelmed and a little sad to have to source out goods from China.
Some people tell me to not eat the food. Others say, don’t worry as long as you eat at the American Hotels. Another person told me not to eat anything that isn’t peeled. One person told me he brings a suitcase filled with bottled water. And when he runs out he only drinks beer. LOL…sounds pretty loopy to me. I guess I can expect to lose a few pounds during my two week visit. Nothing wrong with that!
