A fragile gift from God. My daughter, Sherry Herrera, gave birth this morning (at 5 months, 3 weeks, to a little girl who weighs 1 lb. 6 ozs.
Doogie, also born at 1 lb. 10 ozs. on April 22, 1994, had only a 5% chance of survival.
Fortunately, though the baby was born breech, Sherry was already in the hospital so this one has a good chance of survival. They haven't named her yet but were considering the name, Michaela.
Keep this little one in your prayers please. She's so fragile.
