Today I'm thinking of a good friend who died a few years ago. I miss him. He was a writer. We worked together at a midwestern advertising agency for a number of years. We also collaborated on a book; he wrote one chapter, I wrote the next. Somehow it ended on the last page. He had this wonderfully dry sense of humor. Once he was standing on a corner in downtown Cincinnati, watching a wrecking ball demolish a building. Eventually he approached the foreman and said, rather heatedly, "No, no! Not that one!" And pointing to a building on the opposite corner, he said, "That one." Then he walked away.
