New Contract & New Story

Today I'm about to sign a contract on my second book--Murder on the Waterfront (there's an excerpt on my web page). This is an exciting time! This means I will have A Body of Work. An actual stack of two books! I will use this blog to keep a diary of the publication process and beyond.

In other news I uploaded an entry in the Flash Fiction contest at Anotherealm.com. This story is called "Nanotech." It's science fiction and is set in a space port called Merlin's Gate on a world called Avalon. It's one of a series of stories about Merlin's Gate and the people that live there.
