When Rozalind (Roz) Wingfield's father disappears while camping in the Ozark Mountains, she hires David Crockett, a famous tracker to find him. She convinces him to allow her and her fiancé, Edward Holt, to accompany him on the search. Along the way, Edward is hurt and is forced to discontinue the search. Now that Roz and David are alone, some long hidden feelings begin to emerge. As the search is broadened to cover several countries, Roz finds herself drawn romantically to David. She begins to hope that he feels the same way. Will Roz and David eventually get together and will they finally find what has happened to Roz's father? You must read it to find out. The Search is a stand-alone novel that is complete in the entire book. I tried to make each page exciting, so that you would hardly be able to put it down. It has just recently arrived from the printer. It would make an excellent Christmas gift for someone on your Christmas shopping list who loves to read exciting, fast-paced mystery novels that include a little romance. "After we rest a while, we'll go see what we can find to eat," David told Roz. Then he took off his boots and removed the tiny revolver and put it under his pillow and lay down. "What's that?" Roz asked pointing to the pistol. "It's our safety net," David answered. "It isn't our savior, just a safety net. It's just for emergencies." "Do you expect trouble?" she asked nervously. "It's always best to be prepared," David answered.
