I recently celebrated the release of my sixth book Westmore: Betrayal. This is the fifth volume in the Westmore series and as I tell everyone, the series is like a soap opera. It’s filled with lots of drama, romance, and unique characters. The setting for the book is a small New England town and the series follows the lives of 3 families: The Greens, The Braxtons, and The Reynolds.
Today I’m going to be introducing everybody to The Greens, so let’s see what the family’s been up to.
Charlotte is the matriarch of the family. After four years of being a widow she's ready to start dating again and fate sends her into the arms of Detective Jim Bryant, who's a divorced father. They experience some trouble early in the relationship, but now they may be ready to take the next big step.
Her oldest son Jack is thriving in his professional life. He went from bartender to bar owner within the span of a couple of months. However, when it comes to his personal life he’s not so lucky. After his ex-girlfriend gets married, Jack’s romantic life goes into a slump. That all changes when Zoey comes to work for him, but Jack can’t act on his feelings because Zoey belongs to another man, his brother Peter.
Youngest son Peter returns to Westmore with his much older girlfriend, Zoey. At first, Charlotte disapproves of the relationship, but over time she warms up to Zoey. However, the age difference between Peter and Zoey soon catches up to them. With Peter preoccupied with college and work, Zoey throws all her time into helping Jack with his bar and before long she starts developing feelings for the hunky bartender.
Scott’s love of music led him to pursue his dream of being a rock star. As a founding member of The Dark Souls, he hopes to take the band to the big leagues. Just when it looks like they’re on their way to the big top, tragedy strikes and one member is forced to leave. Scott and the band continue on, but their newfound success spells trouble for him and his girlfriend Melissa.
Alicia is the only girl in a household full of boys, but she holds her own when it comes to her brothers. Like Scott, Alicia’s developed a love of music, however after an accident damages her vocal cords she has to give up her music career. She finds her new calling in the fashion world and becomes a stylist at her mother’s boutique. Alicia also finds happiness with her new boyfriend, Jacob Reynolds.
