visited atlantic city this evening... my adventure for the week Could not find a thing I wanted to watch on TV this evening and like a fool my mind said, "Go be around people." Now I do treasurer my alone time and feel the need to mingle.
Today was one of those days. I live all of 10 miles from AC yet it took me an hour to get there in all the traffic. Well, that should have told me to turn back, but I am a very stubborn soul. I just turned the radio up loud and rock to the beat until I could pick up speed.
Had no trouble parking or getting and elevator. Stepped off of the elevator into a scene that resembled the Roman coliseum. The noise almost knocked me back in the car.. Then came the rush of people< all going no where> but rushing nonetheless. I was crushed by what seemed like all of humanity. Strange as it may seem we were not moving. But everyone was saying excuse me.
At long last after weaving and bobbing like I was in the arena.. I made it to the floor of the casino. To my amazement.. That's where the real show began. People watcher that I am, I became one of the rushers going no where. Long story short, I had a meal. Gambled and lost my money and came home with a full stomach and empty pocket book.
