This post focuses on losing someone and the peace, love and hope that we must lean on. Loved ones can be taken from us suddenly, robbing us of the opportunity to say good bye. On the other hand, we can be standing by their sides, as they soldier on, courageously battling illnesses but eventually succumbing to their demon like grip. Regardless of the situation, losing someone is one of the most difficult occurrences to deal with.
My wife and I have recently lost family members close to our hearts. Shocking and saddening are the two words that best describe our situations but, as we have discussed, we know they’re in a wonderful place, resting with the best. We, along with anyone else who has lost someone, must be filled with hope, knowing that loved ones are in peace, always showering us with their love.
It’s amazing how we are created and put on this Earth, only to be taken away, leaving family members in pain and having to deal with the sorrow and grief that comes along with losing someone. At the Window is a picture book that focuses on peace, love, and hope and is ideal for individuals who have lost someone close to their hearts.
Tony and Virgilio were two great men who will never be forgotten. They will always be with us, offering peace, love and hope from above and when we look, their light shines down as we stand at the window.
