All Good Things

All Good Things is a review of my wedding day with a creative twist. It was inspired from a friend who kept his message in our guest book very short. ALL GOOD THINGS!

 All Good Things

On a sweet sunset night the words were written down

Inside the crafty club the flowers wore the crown

Diamonds were the hearts as numbers showed direction

Lovers hand in hand on the night of true connection

Whispers came as roars and bells would faintly ring

Tonight is the night for the birth of all good things

Sizzling summer day the sun scorched the ground

Ants marching in a line with soldiers all around

Queen bee buzzing in the home she once knew

Supported by the weight of the closest that are few

Pastor awaits the trial congregassion ready to sing

Tonight is the night for the birth of all good things

Toll bell sounds loudly an hour past high noon

Wrapped in purple and white riches walk in the room

Nervousness and noxiousness attempt to stand on top

Smiles from the sun they scorn these feelings that try to stop

Eyes they connect like dots can’t wait to live out of sin

Tonight is the night for the birth of all good things

On the night when music runs wholly through the soul

Footsteps write out messages that can never be untold

Soft spoken words calm the outrageous crowd

They started out as whispers then came tumbling down

As puppets watched in delight hanging from their strings

Tonight is the night for the birth of all good things

Man who printed words and caught kings attention

Said it’s a simple phrase that he always mentions

Master like concealed in a certain tone of voice

Read three words as you will from the barracks comes your choice

Sail away on the dust big man flashes a grin

He said tonight was the night for the birth of all good things

An apt description of the psychological aspect of wedding anticipation and a wonderful sendoff in the idea of the birth of "all good things."
