The Coolest Robot Video I Have Ever Seen 6/10/2015 8:12:01 AM
The company that I work for has a division that designs and sells robots. The company has what I think to be quite a novel name... Motoman. Motoman's original screen debut came in the first Terminator movie. At the end of the movie when Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese run into the factory and are chanced by the skinless Terminator, you can see a Motoman robot whipping around in various scenes. It's pretty cool. You can see a 30 second clip of the scene here.
Recently Motoman came out with a new video to promote the high performance of their product. I have seen a few of their past videos and they were ok for the techy, nerdy crowd and were generally boring. But the latest video they have created is extremely well done. The premise is that a Motoman robot has dexterity equal to that of a samurai master. I think its really cool. Check it out.
