When you have someone that loves you but you are too selfish to share that love, you sometimes loose the best thing that ever happened to you. Though this was years ago, and I now appreciate all good things and all good people to the fullest extent! Lost Love
You and I found love to share.
We were best friends and so much more.
You taught me to trust again,
while your eyes showed that you trusted me.
I just want to say, that I’m sorry.
I wanted something more, but had all that I needed.
I reached for something that I had right in front of me.
I was selfish to think that you were fine,
When I didn’t seem to care.
I hurt the one, whom loved me most.
You gave me happiness that I did not return.
As I have grown and you are gone,
My thoughts of you are only good.
I hope you have the happiness that you deserve,
And you fine it in your heart to forgive me.
