Child abuse is a difficult subject to read and write about without becoming emotionally involved on some level. The ability to maintain a scholarly tone can be challenging. The reading material can be painful. For the layperson doing research for personal or scholarly reasons, it's best to know going in that the majority of the reading material, even the most scholarly articles, deal frankly with all aspects of the abuse, be it physical, psychological, or sexual This site is designed to help in child abuse and domestic abuse prevention and awareness.
