Catching up is what is new
so many bills to veiw
Blessings fall from job long past
will feel so good at long last
to know that everything we have claimed
will be not only enjoyed but paid
Hopefully a new car for husband
and straighter teeth for teenaged urchins
New eyeglasses will be had for all
and cell phones, and fun trips to the mall
all the doctors bills will stop arriving
excuses and guilt will stop coniveing
I know it will not solve all our tests
still the silence of bills requests
will be so profound, to not have to scramble
to pay the rent,or feel all is a shamble
