the water flows along the street
along the curbs caressing feet
soles of shoes or souls of man
how they contract and how they expand
my prayers my spells
just distant bells
ringing in my head
(i just want to stay in bed)
so much is floating in the air
i feel bound tight to this chair
the ropes my own weakness
i must grope for some brightness
i must fight for me
and she and we...
it's all that really matters
