The Dry Spell has Ended! 6/3/2010 9:48:11 AM
After a several week period of writer's block I am finally churning out more fiction! While I have been able to do technical topics and blogs over the last few weeks, since I finished the final draft of Winnebhozo Blues I haven't done any fiction writing. Well, finally I broke the block and am up to page 15 of book 2 of the Rune Sword trilogy: "To Close the Gate" (working title).
It feels good to be writing again, I just hope I can keep up the pace as this second book involves 3 different stories that weave into one ending. It promises to be over 300 pages of high sword and sorcery adventure!
Sales of the first three books: "Sees of Wonder" a hort story collection, "Quest of the Rune Sword" book one of the Rune Sword trilogy, and "Ransom of the Phoenix" and action adventure, have been slow. I hope that maybe now that summer reading time is here I can generate more sales.
Rex Franklin, the hero of "Ransom of the Phoenix", is having the vacation of his life, until threats, murder and a 40 foot long reptile intervene. Look for "Winnebhozo Blues - The Mysteries of Rock Lake" to be released soon!
