Trying to start to make illustrations again - Antz 9/3/2005 6:10:55 AM
I have posted into my 'short story' section a new story, by the name of 'The Little Me' a little while ago. And from that time I am trying to make a nice illustration for that little work.
I am a digital artist, and I create illustrations on my computer. I few years ago I made a little animated movie, by a program named 'flash'.
Now, I am trying to get to be inspired, in order to make that illustration. One of the ways I tried to get inspired was watching on my computer that little animated movie I made several years ago. I still enjoyed the music and the colors of my little movie... but I haven't got the inspiration that I wanted to get so much in order to make that illustration.
So, I tried to turn to another place to get inspiration.
By watching my movie I remembered a wonderful animated film I saw many years ago, its title... Antz and it was made in 1998. I remembered how funny that movie was and how extraordinarry good was its animation. I remembered also its content. So, I thought it would be nice to watch that movie again, or at least to read about it... and maybe by doing that I will get some inspiration in order to make that illustration.
Anyway, the Antz movie is about an ant who tries to get away from the place he is currently and goes through all kind of funny and frightening adventures. I made a search on the Internet and found some hillarious quotes from the movie... like Z says... who is the main character of the movie [his voice is by Woody Allen ]
Z: I've got to believe there's someplace better for me. Otherwise I'll just curl up into a larval position and weep.
While reading that quote I laughted... but needless to say it haven't gave me the inspiration I needed...
Tomorrow I have to look another place in order to get inspired and finally make that illustration.
