Misc Stuff, Red Sox, fires & books 10/22/2007 10:45:46 AM
I just want to pass on big "YAYS!!" for the Boston Red Sox. Being a native New Englander I'm a big Red Sox fan. I went to a fan clinic back in 1982 to Fenway Park and got a signed ball by Dave Stapleton and Carney Lansford. Mind you, I think I saw my last game at the stadium in 1999 when I took my cousin, Zach, there, but I've always been a Sox fan. This team is fantastic! I wrote a short story about the 2004 team - gotta get one together for this year's team.
Well, Southern California is on fire and there's a blaze in Castaic. Thankfully, it's not that bad, it's to the southwest of the house, but they have issued evacations for the Halsey Cyn area and school is out for today. My family is fine, but it's still worrisome. I have to work today so the boys will go to the in laws in Simi Valley.
