I am off from Pinehurst tomorrow to drive down to Rock Hill, SC for a book signing for my novel, Night Work, at the Book Worm at Winthrop on Cherry Road.  If anybody out there is around that area on April 15 from 1-4 P.M., would be glad to see you there.

I have done four book signings for my novel with varying successes as measured by book sales at the signing.  A signing has never brought me a profit from book sales at the signing.  In fact, sales have never paid my expenses.  But others in the writing business tell me that these events are good indirectly for book sales.  So, I do them on faith. 

Profitable or not, signings are fun.  Lots of direct people to people stuff.  Rock Hill should be especially good since Winthrop U. is there and a university always adds to the good life of a city.
