Your Life Is Not The Truth, Or Is It? 8/13/2006 11:55:04 AM
How many of us have held within the shadows of our own hearts and minds the deadly secrets of our past?
How many of us have watched in horror as those same deadly secrets slowly and, as if with purpose driven intent transformed their intangible existence into unverified information of uncertain origin, namely that of a rumor?
How many of us have watched in bleak despair as those same horrific rumors metamorphosed into the totality of all things representing the truth, namely that of reality?
How many of us have stood alone, our only companions: a racing pulse, a pounding heart, the sweaty palms of our hands frantically grasping, reaching and pulling for any semblance of hope as the feeling of disquiet (fear) totally consumed us?
How many us have watched as the shadows of darkness, which had previously held our true selves at bay, relinquished their hold as the supreme reality, which is also known as truth, shattered the conjured-up image of ourselves, like shards of broken glass whose incompletion is now considered the only true and completely viable image of who we really are?
How many of us have stood alone before inquiring minds and judgmental hearts, whose acquired knowledge of our horrific deeds held us in contempt as our integrity, or the lack thereof was inspected and held aloft for the entire world to see?
How many of us have allowed the reality of our true self (once exposed and now one of life’s many adversities) to subdue us?
How many of us have allowed the greatness of our minds to rise above our adversities, thus disheveling the disquiet that once raged within us? Many I hope.
Truth is information; and to some it is information that is essential to peace of mind, and to others, it is a suicidal plunge into the bowels of hell.
Take a giant leap, if you dare, and ask yourself the following: Should the truth concerning my own life, or the truth regarding the life of someone who has become my partner in the keeping of secrets come to light, OR, should I continue to propagate falsehoods, secrets, forever planting seeds of deception if it profits not only ME, but OTHERS as well, to do so?
Let’s share thoughts, and even secrets if you must!
Let's see what the absence of a week in time will bring to the forefront of our hearts and minds as insights and secrets that need to be shared!
