You ain’t gonna get no job
1. If you show up for the interview with your pants hanging down off your butt and your dirty underwear showing. That just shows that you can’t even take responsibility for yourself.
2. If your contact information consist of your pager number and the code 69. That just shows you got bad credit or you’re hiding something else.
3. If your references is cousin pookie and them. Everybody has a cousin pookie, how are they supposed to know which one to call. That shows your lack of initiative to pay attention to detail.
4. If you noted your preferred work hours as any time after 12. That let’s them know you probably not a day- time person.
5. If you show up with your music blasting and you have the nerve to park in the boss’ reserved parking space. That shows one of two things, either you can’t read or you don’t care. In case you don’t know, neither one of those are good.
6. If the receptionist ask you to wait in the lobby area and you start asking people if they got a lighter or some papers.
7. If you try to holla at the person interviewing you, “so can I get your number if this here thing don’t work out?” That let’s them know you have no respect for leadership.
8. If you come in smelling like weed and you have lint in your hair. This lets them know you have no regard for preparation.
9. If you show up for the interview an hour late with a baby on your hip, talking about you couldn’t find no babysitter. This just lets them know you may have some issues.
10. If your every answer to the interview questions are “I don’t know let me run that by my baby daddy. This just lets them know you are indecisive.
These are 10 sure ways on how to not get a job. All I’m trying to say is that you may find it beneficial to put some thought into preparing for a job interview. A job interview is not a come as you are situation. It not only embarrasses you, but it also embarrasses the person who has to interview you. Think about it for a minute. If the shoe was on the other foot and you had to sit there and hold a straight face, conduct yourself in a professional manner, while the whole time you knew the individual didn’t have a shot in the dark, you might be a little bit uncomfortable too.
