First Chapters Writing Competition 1/18/2007 9:45:32 PM
This has probably been blogged to death already but I have a horse in this race so, well...you know.
I've entered my novel 'Hard Reality' in the Gather.com/Simon & Schuster First Chapters writing competition. Top prize is a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster along with a $5,000 purse.
Top four runner ups get $500 a piece.
The downside is the stories are all stacked up upon one another...I left a link to my entry in the Events section of my homepage here...you might want to paste it into your browser and pay me a visit!
I could use the votes as I had never heard of Gather.com until I read about the competition.
If this thinng works out maybe Matt will hook up with a publisher and run a similar competition here!
