Romance Is Not Dead 8/20/2006 9:33:48 PM
I came home this week after being gone for a week. I was away on a combination business/pleasure trip-- I attended a conference for 5 days and then spent 2 days at my aunt's house in Indiana. The 2 days I was at my aunt's, I was totally out of contact-- I couldn't access email or anything, which is VERY difficult for me.
When I came home, I was so happy to see my husband waiting for me at the airport that I cried. When I got home, I found that he had stuck little love cards in various places where he knew I would find them-- in the kitchen cabinet where I go to get my drinking glasses and between the pages of the daily newspaper. Finally when I came into my office to start to work, he had a boquet of roses and two cards-- one from him and one from all of our various pets welcoming me home.
I felt incredibly loved and was doubly glad to be home!
