What a lovely weekend in Austin, Texas, surrounded by people who love books! It's a joy to get out and be in the company of so many people who love to read. It doesn't matter if they are romance readers or not, people who read all share a bond, linked together by the love of the written word. Inevitably when people who read get together, they talk about how they wish they had more time just to sit and read. Most of them will admit to owning hundreds of books and having a "To Be Read" pile that rivals Mount Everest in height. I know when we bought our house, we considered it essential to have an extra bedroom that we could turn into a library.
To be a reader is to be part of a special club. To all the readers out there, thanks for being there and being who you are!
