Trying to help friends can sometimes be harder than you can imagine... I have a friend that got an eviction notice and has 3 weeks left to be moved out of a house she has rented for the past 30 years. She has accumulated so much stuff (junk) and she still holds onto her mother's stuff (who dies in 1992); somehow I think she trying to accomplish where her mother left off.
Anyway, I'd been going over on the weekends (past 2 wknds) to help her pack because she son told her she needs to get ready.
She is in rebellion because she box she packs alone, she waits until the next Saturday when she knows we're coming, before she starts packing. Then as she packs, she stuffs it overflowing to where you close the top.
After we leave, she calls us up to ask which box was a certain item she doesn't remember where it went and it's important now.
I am ready to streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemm! We've been friends for such a long time...but, when we were talking and she asked me why I was helping, I made the comment that "we're friends! Friends help each other! You would help me, wouldn't you?".........Silence............
Have any suggestions? All I can say is HELP!
