Thank you for your patience in wondering what I was going to do yet. My daughter''s wedding was February 17 and also her going away party so it''s been buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy for the past few weeks and I am still trying to catch up...........
My only daughter got proposed to October, 2006 and she wanted to do a very special event by her design. Well it put her on tranquilizers to calm her down, still working, and keep from shredding everyone to pieces with her... and let's do........... that kept on and on. She made beautiful roses, flower arrangements, flowers for everyone, had it planned down to the punch. Everything was unique, by her design and it all turned out esquisite.Then one month before the wedding, she finally says "help".... (we all lived too far apart to just have daily reunions on plans)
So mom comes in along with dad because it's not only her wedding, it's her leaving party because she is moving to Florida and she has to get packed, get the church arranged, get her boxes and things packed, and get ready for the movers to come and get the stuff ready and make everything perfect! We spent every spare moment traveling to her house to help pack, or whatever needed to be done to help Shell get ready for her special event. Needless to say, January and February were tied up, overloaded, and rushed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, the picture shows the petty coat she had me sew the red lace on because she didn't have red in her dress. I think it shocked everyone and shouts came from everywhere but she wanted it, and it was her day!
The Wedding was beautiful on February 17, 2007 and she was a nervous jewel. Thank God for his child named Patty who was Scott's best man's wife who had the eye and know how of creativity to complete and save the day for Shell who was still trying so hard to make everything right. Patty's creativity continued and finished what we, the poor family standing by saying, do you want it this way or that.
Patty came in and just did it!
Everyone had a wonderful time and even the man himself, Mr. Pearle of Pearle Vision came to the wedding which really over joyed Shell. He was a very special suprise for her and the family and one I know she'll treasure, because he has great respect for him and the company she works for.
So since February 17, I have been trying to catch up on the 181 at least emails I'd gotten just from A.D. who I'd been tracking. I want to give my support and there are wonderful writers here and I would hate to miss any of them, but there is only so much time in a day.
So that's were I have been. I am trying to catch up and I haven't written but I am still here and my day will come soon.
