Was that Christmas that flew by? 12/27/2006 12:10:01 PM
It has occurred to me to see what's up for 2007 before it gets here. The year 2006 hasn't quite finished yet, and I'm sure it has something else in store for me. Like, I'd be so pleased to find all the correspondence on a workshop I'm scheduled to conduct in Hot Springs Village on January 22. Must've filed the emails in the wrong file. I'm good at that. Will begin a search here any moment now. Had such a wonderful Christmas with our grandson home from the Army for the first holiday in several years and everyone well, and a new great grandbaby, that I can hardly concentrate on getting back to work writing.
Also, thinking of my new book, Fly With The Mourning Dove, and how anxious I am to see the cover occupies some of my down time. Oh, how I'd love to be as organized as everyone thinks I am, but it ain't so.
I do find that I now have two additional columns to write on top of the weekly historical feature I write for our little newspaper in Elkins, Arkansas. One will appear in Life In The Ozarks, a monthly magazine and another in Storyteller Magazine, which I believe is quarterly. Better ask, huh?
Have a couple of articles coming out early this year too, though I don't write those too often. These were of some importance to my own history. More about them when I get a release date.
Not a very interesting blog for this month, will try to do better next month.
