Hilary Clinton? Riding the coat tails of her husband success? Sure, if there was no association with Mr. Bill, no one would have given her a serious thought. BTW, we remember what you did in the healthcare arena when your husband was in charge. No thanks.
Obama? Yea, right… Here is a guy that wants to reach out to both parties. When provided with the opportunity to debate on Fox News he bows out. Also, what are his experiences? None… He has neither military nor intelligence background, has never been responsible for a budget greater than what his book is making, has no clue on healthcare nor real domestic issues/solutions. But, give him credit for being a good speaker and raising a lot of money. Which begs the question, are we evaluating our potential next leader on his social graces only?
Mitt Romney? Not! Here is a guy that was the former Governor of Massachusetts – who allowed the judges to override the people by making Gay Marriages legal on his watch. Furthermore the Massachusetts legislator needed to be sued in order to bring this issue to the ballot in 2008. Mitt, do you remember that you swore to “Defend the US Constitution against ALL enemies both domestic and abroad?” When the judicial stepped over the line, you should have too. If I was in your shoes, I would have removed those judges from the bench if I had to do so with the National Guard! I for one would have defended the “US Constitution”.
Giuliani? Rudy, kudo’s on your management of 9/11 but you have flip/flopped on so many key issues that you make Kerry look stable. If you were honest with yourself, you would realize that you are a Democrat in Republicans clothing.
So, I guess I will do my own exploratory work to see if the people of this country are sick of the status quo and would consider my candidacy. With me you will get a straight “Yes” or “No” without the political legal speak. As with my business, I prefer to use lawyers to help in areas of legal complexity not in decision making. I have 25-years in the military and 20+ Years in the commercial and Federal sectors at a senior executive capacity. I am also a small business owner.

These are my Political Core Beliefs:
· Devoted Patriot that was greatly inspired by the presidency and legacy of Ronald Reagan. He had a great way to bridge the gap between the parties during a Democratic dominated house and senate to get his job done for the best interest of the nation. To those who new Reagan, he was an American-First who was more interested in the wellbeing of our country than his party.
· Strong advocate of protecting the US Constitution from all enemies - domestic and abroad – therefore, I am against organizations bent on changing our form of government from a Republic (for the people and by the people) to a European Socialist Model through the manipulation of the judicial system – example: The ACLU. I would be the first politician on record to declare the ACLU the “Enemy of the State”.
· Pro-Life advocate. The abortion of 126,000 per day, world-wide, is a poor “choice”. With the exception of cases of rape, incest, and the true endangerment of the expecting mother (which represents less than 1% of the total), I am against all forms of abortion. Recent studies have shown that 95% of all women contemplating an abortion will change their mind when they view the fetus during an ultrasound. Therefore, I strongly believe that organizations such as “Planned Parenthood” should be mandated to provide consultation to pregnant mothers via a non-bias source such as “Abba Pregnancy Centers” that fully explain the physical and mental risks of this procedure while the prevailing laws on abortion remain legal within the US.
· Protection of Religious Freedoms. The 1947 Supreme Court Ruling of “Separation of Church and State” was made into law without ANY precedent. In the same way the “Prohibition Rulings” were overturned in the early 1920’s, so should the 1947 ruling be overturned. The now generation is presently being labeled as the “pornography” generation. The moral compass of this nation has shifted to the far left, while those of Judeo/Christian beliefs are constantly being attacked for not compromising their core values. This country’s religious heritage is being edited out of our history books and excluded from our children’s education while all other forms of sexual deviancy is encouraged and promoted – in many cases, against the core beliefs and will of the parents. I would make it part of my primary objective to overturn the 1947 ruling as being unconstitutional.
· Belief in a Strong Military Force. I find it very disturbing that the Democrats can lay blame on the President and Republican Party about the War in Iraq. The common theme is that the President lied to the people. As a retired military officer with over 25 years of service, I find it hypocritical that within the armed forces we are required to be accountable for our decisions and actions, but there is a double-standard within our political leadership. Both parties voted to go forward into war. Both parties had representative access to the intelligence reports. Both parties were responsible to perform due diligence as ONE TEAM. Therefore, “egg on face” applies to both parties when the intelligence was deemed incorrect. Pointing the finger to bolster a particular party emboldens our enemy, reduces the morale of our troops, provides the news agencies with fodder to sensationalize the war in favor of their party, and only deepens the division between the citizens of this nation as they attempt to sort through the facts.
· Supporting our Guard and Reserve. I support laws that would protect our Guards and Reservists from financial risk while they are activated during a war footing, while providing tax incentives for companies that augment their income while they are called to active duty.
For example: Millions of our college students have deferred loan programs such as the “Stafford Loans” until 6-months after they graduate. In some cases, this time period can be extended to 1-year. However, there is no equivalent program to support our Guards and Reservists who are in harm’s way defending our country. In many cases, our citizen soldiers and their families face financial hardships when called to fight our wars.
· Taking on the Pornography Industry. Pornography is addictive and the catalyst of pedophile activities ( over 95% used porn), is increasingly becoming the number one reason for divorce ( over 76% mentioned porn as being a major issue in their marriage), is a catalyst for sexually related violent crimes and attacks on women (over 70%), is a catalyst for sexual predators (98%); and contributes to the delinquency of minors (over 85% of children under the age of 13 have been exposed to hard-port via the Internet; 90% of all children that engaged in sex at a young age were exposed to pornography). I strongly believe that the porn industry needs to be highly regulated as was done with the cigarettes industry. It should be forbidden from the hotels, motels, and from the public airways. It should also be encapsulated and restricted to the .sex domain on the Internet and filtered in our public libraries and schools. Furthermore, citizens that suffer from addiction to porn should have legal recourse. Therefore, I will support laws that restrict, remove, regulate, and penalize the porn industry for their assault on our children and families.
· Health Care. Our nation’s healthcare system is a mess. However, adding more political red tape will not help this problem. Most hospitals operate on a 1% profit margin (example: Mass General Hospital). The problem is that almost 80% of the total cost of health care is associated with administrative and regulatory reporting requirements! When you add the new HIPPA compliancy regulations to the mix, along with many doctors and surgeons leaving the business due to the high cost of malpractice insurance, you have a system on the fringe of disaster. The solution is not to create more government regulations but approach this from a classic operational and reporting efficiencies standpoint – (Note: more about this later, too long for me to put into this memo). Additionally, guidance should be established for a combination of doctor/surgeon assessment and evaluation, third-party review boards, and cap limits on litigation. The bottom line is to work the system so litigation is avoided, where risk is reduced, where accountability is insured, and where the malpractice insurance is normalized so that skilled doctors and surgeons are supported within their practices.
· Small Business Advocate. There are many areas where this nation can support the business sector to increase American jobs in a competitive and ethical manner. As a business owner, the level by which I can expand is directly relevant to my tax base and the interest rates for loans for my business, to include how they are structured. Small businesses should be allowed to take loans based on a 30-year amortization schedule, without having to refinance at the 5 or 7 year mark. The present system does not allow the business owners to make any notable dent within the equity base of their loan. In essence, the banks reap income in perpetuity by front-ending the interest rate for the life of the loan and upon each renewal. A small business owner is less likely to expand when their equity base is being paid down very slowly. I also support a better insurance pooling program that is industry based. For example: Currently, I am under the restriction of being able to provide health insurance to my employees with a minimum of 3 persons wanting to participate within any insurance program. There should be no minimum requirement for a business owner to offer health insurance to their employees if they choose to.
· Definition of Marriage. As defined within the Bible, I believe and support the protection of marriage and its definition as a union between a Man and a Woman -- only. I do not support civil unions, for according to my core beliefs I will not support a lifestyle that the Bible defines as a deviant behavior. Keep in mind, Adultery, Fornication, Polygamy, and other sexual behaviors are also defined as deviant and fall squarely upon the heterosexual community as well. Therefore, my objection to the gay movement is NOT to persecute those who engage in these lifestyles. However, I firmly believe we are doing a serious injustice to our next generation by embracing alternative lifestyles as an acceptable, promoted norm within our society. In some cases, we are forcing our children to be brainwashed in these alternative lifestyle teachings (ex: Lexington, MA School system mandates a Gay sensitivity training for its 3rd graders) against the will and faith of their parents.
· Supporting our Law Enforcement Community. As the demands from Homeland Security, the National Incident Management System (NIMS), and per Presidential Directive #5 (http://www.fas.org/irp/offdocs/nspd/hspd-5.html ) increase, the law enforcement community is being forced to adhere to these mandates, without the funding to do so. In many cases the Law Enforcement Community are victims of Grant Reallocation while the actual mandate requirements of public safety remains constant.
o For example, “The COPS More Grant” (http://www.cops.usdoj.gov/mime/open.pdf?Item=439 ) shifted from the intended Law Enforcement Community to Homeland Security.
o Gang Grants were intended to address the increased service demand, were promised to Law Enforcement, but was reallocated.
· Immigration Reform. First of all, we need to shut the doors at the borders by creating a secure boundary. Secondly, we need to hold Mexico accountable for the flood of immigrants to this nation. Thirdly, we need to support our law enforcement community so we can be successful in managing this problem. Lastly, we need to have Congress set the yearly imigration quotas back to the 1965 levels.
