"I Will Touch The Sun" will forever change my percecption about the written words. The written word is very powerful and can impact the reader in a very special way. I wrote "I Will Touch The Sun" to help me deal with a tender moment. After reading its pages many times, I was able to find serenity.
I kept the pages on my kitchen table. One day, a friend stopped by and noticed them. Soon, she was lost in the words and couldn't stop reading while her teardrops fell.
"I want this book," she said with authority.
"You can't have this book because it's not for sale," I replied.
"Can you make me copies? This is the best thing I've read," she said.
I wrote a few lines for my friend, but she insisted on still having "the book."
Before long, everyone started having the same reaction vis-a-vis the manuscript. Therefore, I was compelled to publish it in order to share it with others.
"I will touch the sun" really helped me to understand the power of the written words.
